UFC 135: Live Results And Play-by-Play
The UFC is in Denver tonight kicking off UFC 135 featuring a light heavyweight title match between champion, Jon Jones and former champion, 'Rampage' Jackson. The pay-per-view card will begin at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. For those of you that won't be watching the event, tune in as we walk you through a live play-by-play of all of the action. For those of you that will be watch-ing, feel free to comment with us, as we will also be posting post-fight quotes from fighters after their match-ups.
MMA30 did not release predictions for this card so quickly here they are: Jones TKO, Kos TKO, Rothwell unanimous Decision, Browne split Decision and Gomi Decision.

NATE DIAZ Vs. TAKANORI GOMI
Rd1 - Men pawing jabs testing distance. Diaz attacks first with a straight right that sinks Gomi to the ground. Gomi back to his feet ands backs up. Diaz stalking now smelling bloow. Gomi regaining composure, firing back. Diaz closing in the distance. Body shot by Gomi. Right hook from Diaz lands again. Gomi won't be able to take many of those. Quick flurry, fighters clinch and Gomi separates. Fighters clinch again, knee from Diaz. Diaz starting to toy with Gomi. Diaz looking very confident, striking at will. Gomi down and Diaz takes his back. Diaz working in hammers. Diaz transitions into a triangle choke and appears to have Gomi deep. Gomi rolls to escape, Diaz lets go of the Triangle, grabs and arm and Gomi taps immediately to the armbar.

BEN ROTHWELL Vs. MARK HUNT
Rd1 - Mark Hunt attacks first with a right left combo. Rothwell shoots but misses wide. Hunt throws another left. Rothwell swinging back stalking, but Hunt quickly jumps in and back out. Long jab from Rothwell earns him a counter right from Hunt. Hunt throws a right, and Rothwell uses the opportunity to drop low and slam Hunt to the floor and right into full mount. Hunt bucks Rothwell off, but Rothwell stays in top side position. Hunt's back against the fence explodes back to his feet. Rothwell stalking while Hunt circles away. Rothwell shoots again, Hunt stuffs and throws Rothwell off. Rothwell separates and tries again. Grabs a single and holding on working hard for this one. Can't get the take down and now Hunt is firing. Rothwell shoots, Hunt lands an elbow sending Rothwell to his back and now Hunt is in top position. Doesn't last long as Rothwell to his feet. Rothwell attacks in, and an unbalanced Hunt falls to the floor but back to his feet. Rothwell again chases Hunt down and drags him to the floor into side control. Rothwell big punches to end the round. 10-9 for Rothwell.
Rd2- Both men look much slower this round. Rothwell is sporting a big gash on his right eye. Big leg kick from Hunt. Another big kick turns Rothwell. Rothwell attacking in and Hunt just barely misses a huge uppercut. Rothwell ducks and shoots but again can't drag Hunt down. Hunt turns it on Rothwell and takes him down into full guard. Rothwell looks exhuasted. Hunt with big elbows. Hunt is laying on Rothwell with elbows and shoulder butts. The laziest transition I've ever seen earns Hunt side control. Hunt is mashing Rothwell's face and Rothwell surges to get up. Hunt takes control of his back and keeps him on the mat. Hunt climbs to full mount and is beating Rothwell. Hunt grabs and arm and is shooting for an arm bar with seconds remaining but can't extend the arm as the time expires. A very solid 10-9 for Hunt!
Rd3 - Hunt is anxious to start this round and Rothwell can barely stand. Big uppercut from Hunt. Rothwell sprawls for a takedown but can't get it. Hunt lands wobbling Rothwell's legs. A battle in the clinch and the fight hits the mat with Hunt again in full guard. Not much action and they are reset to the center of the cage. Rothwell stalks forward as Hunt is now showing signs of tiring as well. Rothwell is walking awkwardly and shoots again for another takedown can't get it. Rothwell falls on all four and Hunt lays over his back and lazily strikes. Men stand, and Hunt lands big on Rothwell with a right. Uppercut, men clinch and Rothwell back to the mat on his back. Hunt in side control and is slowly puniching Rothwell. Hammerfists from Hunt. Fighters are once again reset to the center. Another uppercut from Hunt and Hunt tees off while Rothwell grabs his knees and gasps for air. Hunt stalks forward, Rothwell grabs ahold of Hunt, pulls him down to the mat and takes ahold of his back. Rothwell rolls into full mount as the time expires. Hunt earns another 10-9 and should have the fight.

MATT HUGHES Vs. JOSH KOSCHECK
Rd1 - Hughes first to attack with a long jab. Again with another jab. Hughes definately more active while Koscheck finally attempts a jab of his own. Koscheck enters with a flurry and catches Hughes with a left. Hughes staying busy lands a left hook. Swelling under Koscheck's eye. Hughes with an uppercut is starting to look very confident. Surprisingly, Hughes is owning the stand up. Koscheck with a good body shot. Hughes another uppercut, Koscheck swings hard, but Hughes ducks back under it. Kos shoots for a takedown, Hughes stuffs, Kos with a couple uppercuts, and Hughes finishes with a knee to Koscheck's dome. Koscheck comes in a flurry, catches Hughes and almost dropping him to the floor, Hughes ducks under another and evades. Koscheck attacks in, smells blood and goes after it. A knee from Hughes and Koscheck caught Hughes sending him to the mat. Koscheck attacks and hughes desperately tries to evade. Koscheck is just too quick and Hughes is out with moments to goes in the first round and the ref jumps in to rescue Hughes.

JON JONES Vs. QUINTON JACKSON (5 Round LHW Title)
Rd1 - Jones crawling around very unorthodox style. Shoots in on rampage. and Rampage stuffs with a knee. Jones drives the clinch to the cage and peppers in a couple knees of his own. Rampage turns the fight to put Jones' back against the cage. Jones grabs Rampage's neck and turns Rampage back to the cage. Elbow from Jones. Footstomps from Jones. Fighters reset to the center of the cage. Jones working distance with kicks but nothing landing yet. Rampage stalks and engages the clinch. Jones tries to Judo toss Rampage to the mat, but Rampage keeps his balance. Headkick from Jones blocked. Another. Leg kick from Jones. Front kick from Jones barely misses Rampage's chin. front kick to Rampage's knee. Fighters clinch and Jones presses Rampage to the cage. Uppercut from Rampage barely misses. Jones separates with a spinning back elbow that lands. Back to the center. High kick from Jones blocked. Another spinning high kick and Rampage ducks under. Fighters clinch, Rampage attacks chasing Jones as the round expires. Jones 10-9.
Rd2 - Rampage stalking forward. Jones misses a headkick. Leg kick from Jones and Rampages presses Jones to the cage. Knee from Jones. Jones lowers for a takedown but Rampage stuffs again. Rampage attempts a leg kick. Jones with a left. Body kick slaps Rampage in the forearm. Pace significantly slows down two minutes into this round. May be a long five round fight. Leg kick from Jones followed by a body kick and misses a left hook. Fighters clinch and Jones separates with no contact. Both fighters seem tentative. Pair of leg kicks from Jones. Jones lands a right, but only as Jones backed up and avoided most of the impact. headkick from Jones blocked. Jones peppering kicks, but nothing serious while Rampage can't seem to find a comfortable distance. Fighters clinch, Jones pulls Rampage to the mat into his guard, shoots for a triangle as the round expires. Neither fighter seemed in danger, but Jones takes the round clearly taking control 10-9 Jones.
Rd3 - Rampage now throwing leg kicks. The couple kicks thrown seem affective as Jones seems uncomfortable with them. Jones grabs a single and takes Rampage to the mat into side control. Jones mashing elbows and quickly moves into full mount. Jones scooting Rampage to the fence, postures up and is now dropping punches. Rampage bucks, rolls Jones off and quickly stands! Fighters separate and Rampage is bleeding. Kick to Rampage's body. Front Kick to Rampage's face. Jones nails Rampage with a right and a left, follows with a kick. Jones attacks, stumbles, Rampage takes the opportunity to swing heavy on Jones, but just misses over his head, and Jones escapes. Jones attempting a flying knee. Jones now working the boxing. Jones sinks for a take down as the round expires. 10-9 Jones.
Rd4 - Rampage aggressively after Jones. Jones catches Rampage with a left. Jones throws a wide left hook as Rampage ducks under it. Jones clinches, Grabs Rampage's neck, uses it to sit Rampage down. Knee to Rampage's body. Jones takes Rampage's back. Locks in a solid rear naked choke. Rampage taps and is finished for the very first time!
